Fake Ride-Hail Driver Threatens, Robs Passenger: NYPD

Police are searching for a man who they said acted like a driver for a ride-hailing administration and afterward debilitated and ransacked a lady who got into his auto by slip-up. It happened around 1:30 a.m. back on May 15. Police said a lady in the East Village thought the man's dark car was the vehicle she requested and got into the auto on Mangin Street and East Houston Street after the driver said he was there to lift her up. Once inside, she started to understand the driver wasn't going towards her home. At that point as he passed the 96 Street exit on the FDR Drive, police said the man undermined to shoot and sexually attack the lady and requested cash. The lady gave over her wallet, telephone, gems and different things. She figured out how to escape at a red light on Park Avenue in Upper Manhattan. Police have discharged a portrayal of the suspect. He's portrayed as dark man in his 30s with short hair and a whiskers.
