Pope Francis has set up lawful methods to expel religious administrators who bungle taking care of sex misuse cases, saying they can be kicked out of office if the Vatican discovers they were careless in doing their occupations.
In a law distributed Saturday, Francis addressed a long-running interest by casualties of misuse and their backers to consider religious administrators responsible for neglecting to shield their groups from pedophiles.
